“The Place” — In Gangnam

UPDATE 5/2016: The Place does not serve delicious lasagna anymore. However, their other menu items are also tasty and worth a try.

This place is not just any place — It’s a very special place that everyone needs to know about. Everyone must know about this place because it has a very special menu item that is almost impossible to find in Korea —- Lasagna. Not just any Lasagna, with weak tomato sauce and a few limp noodles, but perfectly stacked and baked Lasagna with bubbling cheese, fresh noodles and zesty meat. I went here for my birthday lunch this month, and I wasn’t expecting much. However, I was blown away by the salads and the authentic taste and texture of the Italian lasagna. We ordered the Chicken Caesar and the Ricotta Salad to go with our meals and both were bursting with flavor. My friend also ordered the Carbonara pasta dish, which was also tasty. I wasn’t too impressed with the bread rolls. However, I would highly suggest that you make a trip to Gangnam if you are craving some pasta and salad. The lasagna is well worth the price of 16k won.

To get to “The Place” >>> Walk straight out of Gangnam Exit #11. Turn Right up the alley where Paris Bag. is located on the corner. “The Place” will be on your left — downstairs. It’s in the same space where “Crazy Hook” was in the past. The restaurant has been completely renovated, and the waitstaff members are extremely attentive and kind.

Go try it out and tell me what you think!! πŸ˜‰ Check out my Instagram for more foodie pics and restaurant choices. Instagram: KoreanKream
