Olympic Park — Cherry Blossoms

2015-04-04 16.47.002015-04-04 17.21.51

Every year in April, South Korea’s landscape transforms into a beautiful showcase of cherry blossom trees. There are several festivals to attend, and the lovely blooms are only visible during a short window of time over a couple of weeks in April. Once the flowers are gone, they are gone for good until the following year. This year, I decided to visit Olympic Park to check out the cherry blossoms there. The park is massive and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I’m glad that I made it a priority to get outside and get some flower photos this weekend, before it was too late. Some other great areas for cherry blossom viewing are: Yeuido Park, Jinhae and Seokchon Lake (in Jamsil). I’ve heard that all of these areas are super crowded though. Therefore, I opted for the less crowded option. If you have a chance, you should def check out the cherry blossoms in one of these popular areas for the ultimate Spring experience. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ 😊 ☺ Check out more photos on my Instagram account: KoreanKream.
